As Last Epoch, the time-traveling fantasy APRG, approaches its 1.0 launch this week, Eleventh Hour Games has sparked excitement by revealing the latest additions to their character class lineup. Set for release on February 21st, these classes complete the roster of 15 mastery classes players can unlock after progressing through one of the game's five base classes. Among the new unveilings, the Falconer specialization within the Rogue class stands out, promising a unique combination of skills complemented by the presence of a falcon, acting as both a companion and a formidable ally in battle. This class is designed to utilize a diverse set of abilities, including setting explosive traps and casting nets, complemented by acrobatic maneuvers to slow enemies down, creating perfect opportunities for the falcon to strike.

Eleventh Hour Games emphasized their intention to create a distinctive minion playstyle with the Falconer, positioning the Falcon not just as a partner but as an extension of the player's combat strategy. The developers have ensured that the falcon is invulnerable, and its prowess will amplify based on the player's own stats, thus growing stronger alongside the player.

On the other hand, the Warlock specialization, stemming from the Acolyte base class, captivates with its focus on soul manipulation and curse application. This class is adept in wielding curses, both old and new, mastering the art of tormenting foes to magnify their own offensive capabilities. The Warlock’s versatile combat style allows them to engage enemies from any distance, tailoring their approach based on their preference for risk and employing a blend of curses, debuffs, and damage synergies to vanquish adversaries.

To explore the full array of masteries and their origins from Last Epoch's five foundational classes -- including the Rogue, Acolyte, Sentinel, Mage, and Primalist -- interested players can visit the official website. These base classes serve as the foundation, but the uniqueness of each mastery, like the Falconer's bond with their avian ally or the Warlock's dominion over dark arts, promises a richly varied playing experience. Last Epoch’s offering of masteries, highlighted by the earlier introduction of the Runemaster, underscores the game's commitment to offering a depth of customization and spellcasting possibilities.
